What types of gift cards are available and where can I buy them?
- Physical gift card: can be purchased in Castañer shops.
- Digital gift card: can be purchased at castaner.com and in Castañer shops.
How will I receive my gift card?
If you purchase a digital gift card, you will receive it by email at the time of purchase.
If you purchase a physical gift card in our shops, you will also receive a copy by email at the time of purchase.
Can I buy a card as a gift for someone else?
You can by a card and send it as a gift to someone else. To do this, you need to select the option "I want to send this as a gift" and then enter the following details:
- Recipient's email
- Recipient's name
- Message (optional)
Finally, you will need to select the date to send the gift card.
What amounts are available for gift cards?
Physical and digital gift cards can be purchased in the following amounts:
- European Union: £60, £120 and £180
- United Kingdom: £60, £120 and £180
- United States: $100, $150 and $200
Are gift cards reloadable?
Only physical gift cards can be reloaded, and this can only be done in our Castañer shops. You can add credit by selecting one of the available amounts or by returning an item.
How to redeem a gift card?
During checkout, you can apply the gift card code just like a promotional code.
If the card has a balance of €60, it will automatically deduct the maximum possible amount from your shopping cart. You cannot choose how much of the card's balance to use for each purchase.
Can I use my gift card balance on multiple orders?
The balance of a gift card can be used across multiple orders, as long as there are sufficient funds available.
Does my gift card balance cover taxes and shipping on an order?
The gift card balance is applied to the total order value, which includes taxes and shipping costs.
Can several gift cards be used in a single order?
Yes, you can use multiple gift cards by applying each code one at a time.
Can I use a gift card and a discount code at the same time?
Yes, you can use both a gift card and a discount code by applying each code at a time.
What if my gift card balance is not enough to cover my order total?
If the gift card balance is less than the total amount, you will need to choose an additional payment method to cover the remaining balance before completing your purchase.
Can a gift card be used to buy another gift card?
No, this is not possible.
Can gift cards be refunded?
Gift cards are not refundable.
Where can I check the balance of my gift card?
You can check the balance in the gift card confirmation email or by contacting customer service, providing the purchaser's email address and the last 4 characters of the gift card code.
Do gift cards have an expiry date?
Gift cards do not expire.
What happens if I lose the email and/or physical gift card?
You can contact customer service with the email address used for the purchase or receipt of the gift card. We can identify and resend the digital gift card, but the physical gift card cannot be resent.
Where can I use my gift card?
Gift cards purchased on castaner.com or in any Castañer shop in Spain can be used both on our website and in our physical shops in Spain.
Gift cards purchased at the Castañer shop in Paris can only be used in our Paris shop.
Gift cards purchased at the Castañer shop in Rome can only be used in our Rome shop.
