To exchange an item, you must return the model that does not suit you and place a new order on our website. You will find the return instructions in the following sections:

Item prices may vary during sales or promotions. When returning an item, you will always be refunded the amount paid on the day of purchase. If you purchase the item again, the amount due will be the rate in effect on the day of the new order.

Castañer accepts returns of delivered items within a maximum period of 30 calendar days from the date of receipt, as long as the product is in perfect condition and has not been used.

If the product was not purchased directly from the Castañer website, it is necessary to go or contact the store where you bought it.

To request the return of a product, you must access the Castañer return portal: https://returns.reveni.io/castaner 

You will need to enter the order number (CASTANER00XXXXX) and the email used to make the purchase, and follow the steps indicated on the platform.

There are four possible options to make a product return. Depending on the city from which you process the return, the options available may be different.

1. FROM CONSIGNEE´S ADDRESS (GLS)

• Pack the products using the original box or similar. Remember to remove any old labels.
• Once you select this return method in the portal, follow the instructions to proceed with the return process. 
• Give the package to the carrier on the requested day for pickup.

2. POST OFFICE

• Pack the products using the original box or similar. Remember to remove any old labels.
• Once you select this return method in the portal, you will receive a document by email with the code to manage the return in a post office. 
• Approach any post office and indicate you want to make a return with Correos Express. Provide the return document code.

3. POINT OF CONVENIENCE (INPOST OR GLS)

• Pack the products using the original box or similar. Remember to remove any old labels.
• Once you select this return method in the portal, follow the instructions to proceed with the return process. Instructions may vary depending on the chosen shipping company. 
• Approach any point of convenience and drop off the package. Find the nearest point on the following links:

In case you choose the shop return option, you need to take back the models you wish to return together with the order confirmation, either printed or on your cell phone.

It is necessary to insert the completed return form in the box as we cannot accept returns without documentation.

Once we receive the returned article, we will proceed to its validation and reimbursement within 7 working days. The deadline for the economic refund to be effective will depend on the payment method used. 

Castañer admits the return of its products within a maximum period of 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.

*No returns are accepted for purchases made on castaner.com at the Paris and Rome Castañer shops.

It is necessary to include the completed return document in the returns box. We cannot accept returns without documentation.

Upon receiving of the returned item, we will validate and refund the item within 7 working days. The time it takes for the refund to become effective depends on the payment method used.

The estimated delivery time from the departure of our logistic warehouse is:

• Spain: 1 to 2 working days
• UE countries: 1 to 10 working days, depending on the chosen shipping method (standard/express). For further details, see the table at the end of the article.
• United States of America and the United Kingdom: 1 to 4 working days

Deliveries will be made throughout the day, without time preference. No deliveries will be made on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. They will be made on the next business day.

Castañer may extend delivery times in periods of sales and high season or when an irregularity is detected in the order. The delivery time will never exceed 30 days from the date of order confirmation. 

Once the purchase is registered on castaner.com, the order can no longer be modified. 

We will proceed to cancel the order, as long as it is not yet in preparation and has not left our warehouse. Please contact us indicating that you wish to cancel your order and enclose the necessary information (order number, email and recipient's name). If the cancellation can be made, you will be refunded the full amount paid. You will have the possibility to place a new order with the desired items. 

If the order has already been shipped, the only option will be to effectuate a return.

All our products are accompanied by a booklet with the necessary care instructions.

We detail the instructions below:

• To preserve and maintain the product in the best conditions, avoid prolonged exposure to light and heat sources.
• We recommend always storing the product in its original packaging.
• Avoid contact with water, grease, perfumes or cosmetics. If your model gets wet, remove excess water with a dry cloth and let it dry at room temperature.
• Our products are crafted with artisan fabrics and high-quality leather, so tonal variations, marks or veins are natural features and should not be considered imperfections.
• Jute espadrilles should not be exposed to rain or wet ground as it is a natural material that is sensitive to exposure to water.
• Special care should be taken when washing and maintaining espadrilles.
• In textile models, it is advisable to hand wash carefully without submerging the espadrille as the natural fibers to which the sole is exposed could fade or damage the textile or leather part.
• Wet wipes are often very effective as they usually remove stains without excessively wetting the fabric.

At Castañer we offer a wide range of sizes. In models for women, you can find from size 35 to 41. In male models we offer sizes from 40 to 46.

Our advice, if you hesitate between two sizes, is to choose your usual size. You can also place an order with both sizes and return the pair that does not fit. Returns are free of charge and the refund is made within 7 days after receipt of the returned model.
